Mauro Adami combines stylistic creativity to the most precious metal.
At LA DOLCE VITA, the Italian Lifestyle event of the year in UK, held in London from March 26th to 29th, 2009 Domo Adami will showcase, in collaboration with White Sposa Magazine, a never-before-seen dress, a unique bridal gown made with platinum fabric details created by Mauro Adami, designer of DOMO ADAMI.
The ball gown shines with its wide and soft double ruffled-tulle petticoat and its corset. The bodice is obtained draping more than yd. 2.00 of platinum fabric and is built on a structure of duchess satin and heavy hempen cloth interlining, skillfully worked with boning and hand stitching. The precious and delicate texture is a typical Mikado weaving, worked with silk threads; it’s a produce from Japan and is only 12” wide. The dress will be available only on limited and numbered pieces, and each of them will be labeled carrying the bride’s name hand embroidered on the inner lining. The estimated retail price is €30,000.00 (£28,000.00).
The complexity of this creation, the fabric combination and the artistic creativity make this dress a real Haute Couture piece, matching with the luxury concept that DOMO ADAMI expresses in all its collections through emotional and unique dresses.
